    Situated over the famous Pooh Corner shop, Owl’s House enjoys rural and village views.  Sitting at the south end of the High Street this timber-framed building has many exposed oak beams and is quietly located only 200 yards from the village general store.  Ideal for visiting Poohsticks Bridge (where the ancient game was first called Poohsticks) and all the original Winnie-the-Pooh places mentioned in the timeless books of A.A.Milne and more recently, David Benedictus.  It is a short drive from the beautiful and historic Ashdown Forest; home to many of the real Pooh Places and hunting ground for English Kings notably Henry VIII.
